The next Jackson Pollock and the First Abe Onkst

After Abe Onkst graduated high school, he became a full-time college student studying art education. However, during his free time he goes into his basement studio riddled with splattered paint, empty canvases and pieces of artwork in progress. He develops his abstract painting portfolio with his oils and pure white canvases, working on commissioned custom paintings and constructs new unique pieces to further his online gallery.

After getting early attention from buyers in his hometown, ranging from his paintings to his clothing line, he quickly gained confidence and realized this profound potential. From that early onset popularity, he attended 2019 charity event, “Chefs for kids”, where his art was featured to raise money for the “cookies for kids’ cancer” non-profit organization.

Abe Onkst, 19 years old, lives studies and paints in central Pennsylvania while he builds up his name, brand, and connections to take into his future in the world or Art.

6 years ago, Abe Onkst began his creative journey in the world of art. At the age of 13 Abe starting painting. At first it was just because he enjoyed it and he wanted to express his years of sheltered creativity but at that age he never knew what it would become or what it will continue to become as not only his life progresses but as his artistic vision becomes more profound.

There are hundreds if not thousands of people around the world with a vision of becoming a world-renowned artist that takes part in events and has galleries in New York city. However, for Abe it isn’t just a vison or a dream. It’s a reality.

One of his first big steps in the world of art was in 2018 when Abe had a gallery showing at the Living Gallery Outpost in New York City, New York. This gallery showing not only expressed Abe’s ambition and drive to be successful but also shows some of the best work he had created up until that point.

Some artists either have two things, A big break, or they fade away in the crowd. Abe got the start got his break a year later.

 In 2019 He went to New York city to attend the event “Chefs for Kids” where celebrities all over the United States including Neil Patrick Harris, Chef Marc Murphy and many others gathered to raise and support the “Cookies for kids Cancer “ Non-Profit organization. Cookies for Kids’ Cancer™, a national 501(c)3 non-profit, is committed to raising funds for research to develop new, improved, & less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer, the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S. Abe was invited to show off his art in support of the cause which he later used his social media to further promote the cause and show to everyone the strides he Is taking to make his mark on the world and further his career.

Abe’s said “Im inspired by nature, people, feelings and, My work has a lot of layers, energy, and color in it… It has many meanings” Abe always inspires to be the best that he can be in his craft and make sure every single one of his paintings is unique and different and he continues to make his mark on the world. He also leave a lasting impact through his paintings and all of the people he meets. “Onkst aims to inspire people to live the most authentic and positive life they can live.”
